The Whitewater Valley Railroad is a volunteer organization that promotes the preservation of a historical branch line. We are in need of volunteers with all kinds of skill sets. There is a very long list of jobs that are available at our railroad:

  • Brush Cutting, Track Building, Maintenance, and Repair
  • Locomotive/Diesel Engine Maintenance
  • Metal Work, Wood Working
  • Restoration of Equipment
  • etc...

Memerbership Plans

Annual:

  • $25 dues paid annually
  • Receive monthly newsletter "Towpaths Tracks"

  • Rights to Operate as a crew member on trains*

Lifetime:

  • $200 dues paid one time
  • Receive monthly newsletter "Towpaths Tracks"
  • Access to Members Only Website
  • Rights to Operate as a crew member on trains*
  • Limited train riding priviledges, non-transferable

* In order to operate a train or work a crew, a member must pass all required examinations and receive training from the Whitewater Valley Railroad. See the "Education" link above. The minimum age to operate on our trains is 18.
