Whitewater Limited - May 2013
This is a special running of our Connersville to Metamora excursion departing every Thursday and Friday in the month of May. Enjoy a scenic train ride though the Whitewater Valley on the Valley Flyer excursion. Relax as you travel back in time to the historic town of Metamora. Visit the working grist mill, restored canal and lock, operating replica horse drawn canal boat, historic covered aqueduct, and over 100 shops and restaurants during the 2 hour layover before your return trip to Connersville. The train departs Connersville at 10:00am. The price is the same as the Valley Flyer service.
The round trip fares for this train are $22 for adult and $14 for children, one way fares are $16 for adults and $9 for children. Caboose tickets are available for $25 adult and $16 child.
National Train Day - The Statesman with Abraham Lincoln - May 11, 2013
President Abraham Lincoln, in July of 1862, signed the Pacific Railroad Bill that put the federal government behind the building of the Transcontinental Railroad project. The Transcontinental Railroad was completed on May 10, 1869. Travel through time on The Statesman as you spend the day with the 16th President Abraham Lincoln on a relaxing train excursion through the Whitewater Valley. Mr. Lincoln will be riding along as you travel along remnants of the Whitewater Canal to the historic town of Metamora. During the two hour layover, visit the working grist mill, restored canal and lock, operating replica horse drawn canal boat, historic covered aqueduct, and over 100 shops and restaurants. Ask the former president questions and have your photos taken to preserve the memories. Listen to Mr. Lincoln as he delivers a memorable speech before the train departs Metamora for the return to Connersville.

Mother’s Day Valley Flyer with Live Music Onboard - May 12, 2013
Visit Historic Metamora, Indiana without worrying about parking!! This train departs from our Connersville depot at 12:01 pm. Old Truck Revival will be providing Live Music while onboard for Mom to enjoy. Platted in 1838, Metamora is a restored canal town. Visit the working grist mill, restored canal and lock, operating replica horse drawn canal boat, historic covered aqueduct, and over 100 shops and restaurants during the 2 hour layover. Trains consisting of vintage equipment departs Connersville’s Grand Central Station at 12:01 pm on Saturdays, Sundays, and major holidays, May through October. The Valley Flyer departs Metamora for the return to Connersville at 3:30 pm, arriving at the Connersville Station at 5:00 pm.

Pumpkinliner - October 26 & 27, 2013
Bring the family out for a afternoon of fun. Enjoy a round trip from our Connersville Grand Central Station to the pumpkin patch. Your train ticket includes round trip train service, a hay ride to and from the patch, and a pumpkin for each child 12 and under.. Trains depart at 10:01, 12:30, 2:30 and 4:30. Tickets are $9 for ages two and up and include a pumpkin for children age 12 and under. Tickets are Limited and Reservations are Recommended. Trains operate rain or shine. Tickets can not be exchanged or refunded.
Santa Claus Limited - Friday November 29, 2013
Board the train at Grand Central Station in Connersville to pick up Santa Claus along the way. Once on board Santa will come and visit with each child on the train. Train departs at 10am, 12pm and 2pm. Tickets are $7 ages 2 and up.

A Valentines themed special running of our Twilight Limited Train to Dinner excursion departing Connersville Grand Central station, February 15th at 6:00PM and February 16th at 5:00PM. Easter Bunny Express - Saturday March 30, 2013
The 13th annual running of the Easter Bunny Express will depart from our Connersville Grand Central Station and make 4 round trips south to the Easter Bunny Patch 2 miles away. Don't forget your Basket. Come and meet the Easter Bunny and hunt for his Golden Egg. The egg hunt is open to ages 8 and under. Reservations are recommended. Prices are $9.00/person 2 and up. Train departs at 10am, 12pm, 2:30pm & 4:15pm. Train operates rain or shine.
